These images explain why multi-pocket jackets can become difficult to style. When pockets and panels already fill the chest, waist and front opening, conspicuous decoration or many colours below can make the outfit feel scattered. The more complex the pockets, the more restrained the trousers: a principle that can be reused with different technical outer layers.

01灰绿外套的口袋集中在胸腰，棕色直筒裤从腰到鞋保持完整色面；这是上身复杂、下身安静的基准搭法。A grey-green jacket concentrates pockets on the chest and waist, while straight brown trousers keep one continuous colour down to the shoes: a baseline for a detailed top and quiet lower half.

短外套可以接直筒或宽腿长裤，让裤腰到鞋面保持一块完整色面；盖过臀部的宽外层，需要裤线干净，未必非要收窄；长外套配宽裤时，同色能延长轮廓，深浅对比则只保留一次清楚的上下分界。马甲和斜挎包都集中在上身时，裤装更适合少颜色、少配件。

A short jacket can meet straight or wide trousers that maintain one continuous colour from waist to shoes. A roomy outer layer covering the hips needs a clean trouser line, not necessarily a narrow one. With a long coat and wide trousers, matching colours extend the silhouette; contrast needs only one clear division above and below. When a vest and crossbody bag already gather on the upper body, fewer trouser colours and accessories work better.

02棕色短外套与宽裤连成同一色系，适合口袋密集却不想显乱的情况；裤子的宽度只负责托住外套体积。A short brown jacket and wide trousers stay in one colour family, useful for dense pockets without visual clutter. The trouser width simply supports the jacket's volume.

克制不等于只穿基础款。裤子可以宽，也可以有工装口袋，关键是别同时抢颜色、材质和结构。以后看一件功能外层，先判断它的信息量，再决定裤装负责承接体积，还是负责拉开明暗，搭配会稳定很多。

Restraint does not mean wearing only basics. Trousers can be wide or have workwear pockets; the point is not to compete in colour, material and construction all at once. Assess how much detail a technical outer layer already carries, then decide whether the trousers should support its volume or provide light–dark contrast. That makes the combination more dependable.

03外套偏宽并盖过臀部，浅色长裤不再加醒目侧袋；上下都松时，裤线干净比强行收窄更重要。A wide outer layer covers the hips, and pale trousers add no conspicuous side pockets. With both halves loose, a clean trouser line matters more than forcing a narrow fit.

04长外层和工装裤都有分量，用深棕同色把复杂度压低；内搭只露窄条，避免长衣与宽裤变成一整块重色。A long outer layer and work trousers both carry weight, reduced visually through matching dark brown. A narrow strip of inner clothing keeps the long, wide combination from becoming one heavy block.

05短而密集的深色口袋配浅灰宽裤，明暗分界落在腰间；裤面不添新颜色，上身细节反而更清楚。Dense pockets on a short dark top meet pale-grey wide trousers, placing the light–dark boundary at the waist. No new colour below means the upper details stay clearer.

06马甲、斜挎包和口袋都叠在胸腰，裤装维持单色与相近体积；配件已经够多，内搭和鞋履就不必再抢。A vest, crossbody bag and pockets overlap at the chest and waist. Trousers stay plain and similar in volume; with enough accessories already, the top beneath and shoes need not compete.

07白色长外层用前襟口袋提供细节，深色下装只做底座；长外套保留一次清楚的明暗切换就够了。Pockets detail the front of a white long outer layer, while dark bottoms provide a base. One clear light–dark change is enough with the long coat.

08外层结构和亮粉内搭都很醒目，卡其与灰绿下装把饱和度降下来；上身同时有层次和亮色时，裤子更要稳。The outer construction and bright-pink inner layer are both conspicuous. Khaki and grey-green bottoms lower the saturation; layered, colourful tops need steadier trousers.

09从背侧看，大口袋与拼接已经占满衣身；这类外套本身就是重点，裤装不用再靠装饰制造存在感。From the back and side, large pockets and panels already occupy the garment. This outer layer is the focus, so the trousers need no extra decoration to be noticed.

10短外层与短裤会同时缩短上下轮廓，蓝色内搭负责连接两段，灰色直筒短裤则避免腿部继续堆层。A short outer layer and shorts both shorten the outline. A blue inner layer connects the two, while straight grey shorts avoid adding more layers around the legs.
