DAIWA PIER39: technical clothing need not be black

很多功能服一上来就用黑色证明自己，DAIWA PIER39 这组图却把重点放在格纹、白色、蓝灰和柔和卡其。大口袋、拉链、连帽与宽松轮廓都在，装备感却被颜色和图案放缓，更容易进入日常衣柜。

Many technical clothes use black as their first declaration of purpose. These DAIWA PIER39 images instead focus on checks, white, blue-grey and soft khaki. Large pockets, zips, hoods and roomy silhouettes are all present, but colour and pattern soften the equipment-like appearance, making the clothes easier to place in an everyday wardrobe.

The opening short-sleeved set and hooded outer layer replace solid colour with fine checks while keeping the functional construction clear. Blue-grey long outerwear, a short jacket and a waist-level zip detail follow, with one colour absorbing the hardware into the whole. Later come a brown checked long coat, an olive small-check multi-pocket top and an oversized white outer layer: quieter colours make the pockets and silhouette easier to read. The final black look becomes a comparison.
