Choosing a jacket length for your skirt

裙子配外套，我会先看外套停在哪里，下面还剩多少裙面。

When pairing a skirt and jacket, I first look at where the jacket ends and how much skirt remains visible below it.

01短夹克下摆先结束，蓝衬衫略长，下面留出大段长裙。The short jacket ends first, followed by the blue shirt, leaving a long section of skirt visible.

nanamica 2026秋冬里，短夹克配长裙，可以看见大段裙面；外套打开，蓝衬衫又多出一条下摆，也要一起看。换成长外套，露出的裙子变少，效果自然不同，但没有一条适合所有人的“黄金衣长”。

In nanamica’s Autumn/Winter 2026 looks, a short jacket leaves much of a long skirt visible. Worn open, it also reveals the longer hem of a blue shirt. A longer coat covers more of the skirt and changes the result, but there is no single ideal coat length for everyone.

02扣合深色外套后，外套与长裙的边界更容易辨认。Fastening the dark outer layer makes the boundary between jacket and long skirt easier to identify.

Try it both ways.打开、扣上，都看一眼

试穿时，把外套打开、扣上各看一次。如果想让裙装成为重点，就确认自己喜欢的裙摆或分层还看得到。裙子短一点、上下同色时，也可以用同样办法。

Try the outer layer both open and fastened. If the skirt is the focus, check whether the hem or layered details you like are still visible. The same test works with shorter skirts and tonal outfits.

03长外套盖住大部分裙面，下方仍露出裙子，只看画面里可见的两条下摆。The long coat covers most of the skirt, with a section still visible below. Compare only the two hems visible in the photograph.

04灰色外套配浅色及膝裙，裙子变短也能按两条下摆比较。A grey jacket with a pale knee-length skirt shows that the same two-hem comparison works with a shorter skirt.

05同色连衣裙与针织外搭，也有两条下摆；肩臂披搭只作造型观察。A tonal dress and knitted outer layer still have two hems. The draping around the shoulders and arms is treated only as a styling observation.

07试穿检查卡：先找两条下摆，再看露出的裙面与内搭衣长。Fitting card: identify the jacket and skirt hems, then check the amount of skirt visible and the length of the inner layer.
